It’s one of my child’s memories – it was my friend’s birthday,we were 8, her mother cooked such swans and served them on a large plate, they were in jelly, like in a lake…

Seeing this brought back memories of my childhood. My mom, who is now 88 yrs old, used to make the swans when she was young and entertained a lot. She had a huge silver tray, and some silk water lilies, the swans used to sit among these flowers on the tray which looked like a lake w/ swans.. She didn’t use chocolate on the wings, and the filling was plain vanilla pudding, but nevertheless same idea.. Thanks for sharing.
