I just wanted to share a tip i learned while making scones- if you freeze the butter, and then grate it with a cheese grater, its a lot easier than cutting in the butter. you have nice, small chunks of butter. these scones taste delicious!

Same here, the red boxes. But they are quite a limited amount and I am usually left here with boxes of plain cereal. Anyway thanks for the info.

irep – I pick them from a cereal box (Kellogg’s red fruit) Unfortunately, the ones sold elsewhere are candied, not dried.

To one of my better established soul mates in life, I just watched an episode of our favorite show. It makes me want to cry to not have you here as I am cracking up watching Dorothy put Rose down after yet another run of her “gefluken flocken” recipe. Last Saturday, Bakingfairy and I were at my place hanging out as she was nursing me back to life after I hurt my back again and was in indescribable pain, all we wished was that you were here sitting between us and watching this horrible chick flick with us and commented your way through! I miss you terribly and can’t wait till you are back here. That meat dish looks delicious by the way. Do you know that I started cooking? God save the world! I am looking forward to your recipes.
