Paris in HDR
December 01st, 2009 | Category: HDR, Photo Blog

I’ve spent an amazing week in Paris. Can’t wait to tell you more about it. Photos and stories at my food blog soon. Until then, here’s a view of my hotel room. Paris in HDR (high dynamic range).
C’est tres jolie.
Wow! That is a stunning photo.
Wow! Keep shooting
Just beautiful! The colors are unbelievable. Great photo!
I was sure you were coming to Paris… Have you been à Paris Photo au Carrousel du Louvre?
Hope you enjoyed your stay. I love this place.
Chiara – Unfortunately not. So many places to visit, so little time
They look fantastic! Great angle and depth of field.
How beautiful! My favorite city of all places.
Wow, what a magical shot! I didn’t think it was possible to make Paris look even better, and yet, you somehow did.
DPaul’s been dabbling in HDR lately. Hopefully he’ll have some publishable results soon. What software do you use?
Sean – I use photomatix and strongly recommend it.
That’s what he’s been playing with. Good to know!
Sean – By the way, this is a very good tutorial on HDR.
I do believe he’s been referring to that (cuz I sent it to him a few days ago
). Thanks!
amazing!!
FYI, Cenk, DPaul has taken on HDR in earnest. Here’s a recent success: http://dpaulbrown.com/index.php?showimage=84
Sean – Such a nice view and a great candidate for HDR! Is that the view from your place? I also liked the soup photo a lot. Great job.
this makes my heart happy just looking at it!
O my goodness, this makes me want to move to Paris and get off this rat-race of a continent.
Great photo, it is so simple and yet totally captures exactly what Paris is like! Thanks for posting it. I’ve been doing HDRs in Paris and love it, but never thought of doing something as banal as this. You did a great job.

Outstanding photo! We are currently in Paris for another week and I was searching for candy and this came up. Where did you stay, that offered that romantic view?
Thank you Denise! I stayed at Hotel Powers.
Amazing photo!
