Turkish Delights with double-roasted pistachios lokum

This year’s Menu for Hope bid items are better than ever. A year of Bernachon Chocolate Bars (bid item EU37)! How cool is that? Or David Lebovitz’s out-of-print cookbooks: “Room for Dessert” and “Ripe for Dessert”. He is also including a copy of “The Sweet Life in Paris” – all signed, sealed, and delivered to you, anywhere in the world (bid item EU39). How about a photography workshop with Matt Armendariz (bid item UW01)? Or a box of Turkish Delights (lokum) with double-roasted pistachios (as seen above – bid item EU11)?

If you haven’t checked out the bid items yet, hurry up. It is the final week of Menu for Hope 6. You can visit Pim’s site for the master list (including a donation form easier navigation). By the way, David has just added extra-special surprises to the mix – check them out here.

    TOTALLY DROOLING.
So excited to discover your blog.
If you’re ever in LA there’s a cool locum maker in the valley who has fig/walnut and other flavors you don’t normally see.
But the pistachios look so yummily green and big in these, I may just have to visit Turkey again!! :)
