Afiyet olsun.
it is a wonderful site, and your story is amazing, it reflects what we all go through away from our countries, and somehow all of us have that inner feeling, that we will be back someday, but when i clicked under the Turkish on the menu bar, i was about to cry since it is written in Turkish. May god bless you.
Hi Cenk,
I am new to reading food blogs, and I must admit I am in danger of being hooked! I am a British ex-pat of Turkish Cypriot origin living across the sea form you in Cyprus, and I felt among friends when I visited your site. I LOVE food; buying, cooking, eating each process is enjoyable to me, and my young adults (children) suggested I take a look onsite for like minded people. I am happy to say I found some.
I shall look forward to visiting often.
Great Blogg, pictures and entetaining rhetoric – tebrik ederim
Charming website (wonderfull) thank you for the tips ;o)
Sevgili Cenk,
siteni zevkle 3 yıldır takip ediyorum. Yazılarının hem Türkçesi hem İngilizcesi cok guzel dille yazılmış. Full-time blogcu olma kararını tebrik ediyorum ve hakkıyla yerine getirdiğini düşünüyorum.
Dear Cenk,
To say that your website is sublime is an understatement. I just got back from Turkey and read about your site in The Guide Istanbul. We ate so well in Turkey, simply, but with the freshest ingredients. I talked to many chefs, visited Farmer’s Markets, etc. I can’t wait for your cookbook to be published-I hope it will be available in the U.S.
I also have a website, DrawCookEat.com, which is a visual record with recipes of everything available from my local Farmer’s Market here in Hollywood, CA. If you get a chance, please check it out. Thanks and thank you for Cafe Fernando.
I am very disappointed in your blog which seems to concentrate on american style sweets and cakes. Your Turklish recipes are very limited and sometimes inaccurate. When was Karniyarik a vegetarian dish. I subscribed about 1 month ago and have yet to receive one email with a recipe or even an acknowledgement of the subscription.
Nevertheless I will check it from time to time.
Richard Williamson – I don’t remember promising to concentrate on Turkish cooking or frequently posting recipes, so I’m having a hard time to understand why you’re “very” disappointed. I also don’t remember calling karniyarik a vegetarian dish. If you’re referring to one of the categories it is assigned to, it says “vegetable”, not “vegetarian”, meaning the post includes a recipe that has a vegetable in the ingredient list.
