Can’t wait for my pomegranates to ripen so I can try your sorbet and jam recipes – so glad to find new recipes for this glorious fruit. (Last year I made syrup and froze it for later use.) But right now the fig trees are producing more fruit than I can consume or give away – and I still have dried figs from last year’s crop – any suggestions for using/preserving the surplus? Your site is terrific – I look forward to your return…

The title of your post scared me! I thought you were going to way that you were closing up shop for good. I would be so sad

On another note, my husband and I visited Istanbul this summer, and we completely fell in love with your home. Unfortunately, we only spent two days there…we would have loved to have stayed for an extended vacation. We’ve already decided that we will go back one day, and do the city–and country–justice.
